Millennium Point, Birmingham

The Pywr UGM is held every year and offers the chance for Pywr users from across the industry to meet, share experiences and hear about the latest developments in the area.

This year will mark the launch of Pywr v2, which has been in beta testing for a year since last year's UGM. For more details, you can view James Tomlinson's keynote presentation from the 2025 UGM here.

We will also be launching two new products that build on our existing tools — Trunk Continuous Modelling (T-CM) and the T-CM Editor.

Programme

The meeting runs over two days: a hands-on training day followed by a full day of conference presentations and discussion. You are welcome to attend either day, or both.

  • Model setup and management
  • Model editing and version control using the T-CM Editor
  • Running a model
  • Analysing and debugging model outputs
  • Overview of the workflow for model conversion from v1 to v2

Attendees also receive a 1-month free trial of the T-CM Editor for use after the session.

Day 2: Conference

The conference will include a range of Pywr related presentations and discussions.

We welcome presentations from new and experienced users working in and around Pywr. Topics from previous years include:
